  • FuranFlex25 RWV is the ideal solution to lining chimneys for solid fuel and wood burning stoves.
  • The majority of chimneys in use today are masonry chimneys or if built after 1965 brick chimneys lined with clay liners approximately 200mm diameter.
  • If it is wished to install an open fire or stove the chimney should be lined to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • FuranFlex25 RWV is ideal as the chimney can be lined without the need to excavate holes in the chimney run needed to install a Stainless Steel Flexible Chimney Lining or a pumped concrete lining.
  • A CCTV survey is carried out on the chimney. The dimensions and condition of the chimney can then be assessed.
  • The FuranFlex25 is ordered specifically for each application.
  • The installation process is usually carried out in one day, with the connectors for any appliance or any gather units becoming part of the vertical riser lining.
  • On open fires the lining can be tailor made to accommodate Iglenook type fireplaces or the gather area can be rendered with refractory concrete to ensure a fire to chimney pot lining.

  • FuranFlex25 RWV is only 4.5mm thick and can be installed freestanding inside the chimney or moulded to take the shape of the existing chimney to maximise the cross sectional area of the flue, reducing the need to fit chimney fans saving time, money and maintenance costs.
  • FuranFlex25 RWV is available in diameters from 50mm to in excess of 800mm and in one piece lengths up to 100 metres.
  • FuranFlex25 Chimney Lining are usually installed in one day and the appliances can be commissioned immediately after the lining is “cured”.
  • FuranFlex25 RWV carries an insurance backed FULL 25 Year Guarantee.

  • The installation process is usually carried out in one day, with the connections to the boiler headers becoming part of the vertical riser lining. This allows condensate drains etc to be installed at the base of the vertical riser, eliminating any joints in the flue riser.
  • So far in the UK diameters of up to 1000mm have been installed in lengths up to 82 metres.

  • A CCTV survey is carried out on the duct. The dimensions and condition of the duct can then be assessed.
  • The FuranFlex25 is ordered specifically for each application.
  • The boilers are removed complete with exhaust/inlet spigots from the duct.
  • The base of the duct is opened up, this can allow stainless steel adaptors to be fitted with access door and condensate drain if condensing boilers are to be fitted or to “future proof” the duct.
  • The FuranFlex25 is inserted and cured, filling the shape of the duct and sealed to the adaptors at the base. As the FuranFlex25 is only 2.5mm thick it does not reduce the cross sectional area substantially and also improves the performance of the duct as the lining has much less resistance to flow being very smooth.
  • The boilers are refitted and commissioned or new boilers are fitted with the new position of the flues cut through with a hole saw.
  • The old boiler inlets and base are reinstated and the boilers are commissioned.
  • If condensing appliances are fitted, it may be necessary to also fit chimney fans and controls linked to the boilers to regulate the speed of the fan dependant on the number of boilers operating at each moment. The fan will also require linking to turn off the boilers if the fan fails for any reason. This may not be required, all will depend on the flue and boiler calculations.
  • The installation process usually is carried out in one to two days, with the connectors to the boilers becoming part of the vertical riser lining. The FuranFlex25 installation is a one piece lining with the only joints on the concentric flues from the boilers which are visible for inspection at every service.
  • Although all the boilers require removal, the lining process only requires access at the base and terminal of the ducts.
  • FuranFlex25 carries an insurance backed 25-Year Guarantee.

A CCTV survey is carried out on the chimney. The dimensions and condition of the chimney can then be assessed. The FuranFlex25 Black is ordered specifically for each lining and is the suitable lining type for oil. The installation process is usually carried out in one day, and no need to knock through walls because all our linings expand from within the flue. If swept as stipulated in the guarantee will last for at-least 25 years. Also because of the unique product make-up is highly resistant to corrosion.

VentilFlex25 RKV is used in Kitchen Extractors and commercial Kitchen Extractors The extractor duct has a CCTV survey carried out. This will confirm dimensions and condition of the duct. Access is required at both ends of the duct; if no access is available the fan or canopy will be removed. The VentilFlex25 RKV is inserted into the duct, inflated with air and cured with steam.

Once the curing process is complete, any access doors can be cut into the VentilFlex25, the canopy/fan can be refitted and the duct is ready for use. The duct is now gas tight and waterproof and because a smooth inner surface is left with no joints the duct can be easily cleaned. Most installations are carried out in one day or can be installed out of hours to minimise disruption and downtime. All duct shapes can be obtained, rectangular, triangular, circular and many more.

The product has the following characteristics:
  • Not combustible,
  • Does not propagate fire
  • Does not become corroded
  • Gas-tight
  • High-strength
  • Light

Compliance:
TG 1216, SS EN 12237, tightness Class D,
Fire classification A2 -s1,d0 (ventilation and exhaust ducts)
For exhaust ducts and ventilation ducts with thickness 110mm
built into a wall: Class El 60 for fumes in the renovated duct.

VentilFlex25 Green is suitable for lining and constructing air movement ducts (Ventilation and exhaust ducts), due to the following characteristics:

  • Not combustible,
  • Does not propagate fire
  • Does not become corroded
  • Gas-tight
  • High-strength
  • Light

The diameters this product obtains vary based on the specification after a cctv survey has been carried out. The liner can have a circular, rectangular, square, rectangular, or any other shape an air duct has. Continuous pieces of 100m can be built without extensions, this means that the liner can be pulled through whole parts of a system. Than expanded from within, cutting project times down significantly. It can be painted without a primer coating it does not emit materials harmful to health. The joining pieces and curved pieces are made of metal.

Compliance:
TG 1217 , SS EN 12237, tightness Class D,
Fire classification B-s1, d0 (Ventilation and Exhaust Ducts)
For Exhaust ducts and ventilation ducts with thickness 110mm built into a wall: Class El 15 for fumes in renovated duct.

There are vertical drainage pipes in certain places on the roofs of flat-roofed buildings. Generally these are made of steel, concrete or asbestos concrete. These pipes are damaged by corrosion or the movement of the building.

They are difficult to repair, as in most cases the walls need to be demolished. A FuranFlex25 Black lining is an ideal solution for repairs. FuranFlex25 is only resistant to abrasive effects (sand, gravel) to a limited extent. Therefore, it is not recommended in the case of horizontal drainage pipes. In the case of vertical rainwater drainage pipes there is no abrasive effect.

It is important to make sure that the material of the curved outlet pipe at the bottom of the pipe is resistant, e.g. made of polyethylene, PVC. The rainwater flowing down the pipe may contain abrasive materials, which do not wear the wall of the pipe in the case of vertical movement, but they have a significant abrasive effect in curved pieces and along horizontal sections. The perfect construction of the inlet on the roof is important also. It must create a perfect seal on the roof insulation to stop water from getting underneath.
